KANSAS CITY, Kan. – In her first full season in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Milka Duno finished the 2013 season 7th in the Driver Point Standings and became the 2nd highest finishing female driver in ARCA’s 61-year history.

The highest finishing female driver in ARCA Series history was Shawna Robinson - who finished the 2000 season 6th in the Driver Point Standings.


In last night’s ARCA Series season finale at Kansas Speedway Duno finished 15th and earned her thirteenth top-15 of the 2013 season.

Duno started her 2013 season 2nd in the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway and took the lead on the first lap and led 11 laps until the first caution.

She also earned the pole and led laps at Talladega Superspeedway and became only the fourth female driver in ARCA Series history to win a pole and only the second female driver in 25 years to earn an ARCA Series pole at Talladega.

In the 21-race season, with each race comprised of 30-43 cars, Duno would score a total of two top-10 and thirteen top-15 finishes.

Duno is the first Latin American female driver to compete in the ARCA Series and is also the highest finishing Venezuelan driver in ARCA Series history.
