CITGO RACING'S DUNO AND WALLACE TO DEFEND TITLE AT MIAMI 250

September 16, 2004 - Milka Duno and CITGO Racing return to Homestead-Miami Speedway to defend their title - having won at the first visit to the South Florida circuit earlier this year. CITGO Racing's star drivers - Milka Duno and Andy Wallace - won the Grand Prix of Miami on February 28, 2004 and return to defend their title at the Miami 250 on September 19, 2004.

With the Grand Prix of Miami win Milka became the 1st woman in history to win overall a major sports car race in North America. Milka is currently the only woman racing in the highest class of the Rolex Sports Car Series and the 1st woman in history to drive the fastest car in the series - the Daytona Prototype.

"Winning the Grand Prix of Miami was very exciting and we had a lot of luck on our side for that race," said Milka. "Andy and I fought hard for that entire race - which is what put us in a position to win. This race is going to be no-less challenging. All of the teams and drivers we compete against have more races under their belts going in to this one and like us they have worked very hard to continuously make improvements. The level of competition for this return date is much higher and Andy and I will have to work even harder than before to deliver a good result. CITGO has given the team incredible support over the entire season and the team has worked very hard. Hopefully Andy and I can deliver for them - they truly deserve it," added Milka.

The team is currently 3rd in Team Point Standings. Andy is in 3rd and Milka is tied for 5th in the Driver's Point Standings. The Miami 250 is the 9th race of the 2004 Rolex Sports Car Series Championship's 12-race schedule. Milka and Andy will drive the #2 CITGO Pontiac Crawford Daytona Prototype on the circuit's 2.3-mile, 11-turn road racing configuration. The Miami 250 will be a 250-mile/109-lap/2.75-hour time limit event.

The SPEED Channel will provide live flag-to-flag coverage of the Miami 250 beginning at 11:00am EST on Sunday, September 19.
