Duno Finishes Early at Iowa Corn
Indy 250
NEWTON, Iowa (June 24, 2007) - IndyCar rookie driver Milka Duno finished
early today at the Iowa Speedway after starting in 19th position in her #23
CITGO Racing Dallara Honda. The Iowa race track is Duno's first short oval
event and her fourth IndyCar Series appearance.
Duno was forced to exit the race early as a result of wheel bearing failure.
"This was my first experience on a short oval track and knew it was going to
be challenge," said Duno. "The car was very strong and handled well in
traffic. I have learned so much during the past few days at the Iowa
Speedway and will put this new knowledge into action as I prepare for my
next race."
Milka's next event will be at the Richmond International Raceway on Sunday,
June 30th, 2007.
