MILKA DUNO TO RACE BOMBARDIER LEARJET 500K AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Fourth Race of the Season for Milka Scheduled June 7

Fort Worth, Texas (June 2, 2008) - As the only female driver to finish the 2008 Indianapolis 500, Milka Duno, IndyCar Series driver with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, will make her second appearance at the Texas Motor Speedway in her #23 CITGO Racing Dallara Honda at the IndyCar Series Bombardier Learjet 500k on Sunday, June 7.  This will be Duno’s fourth race of the season, which will air at 10 p.m. EST on ESPN2.

In 2007, Duno finished 11th at Texas Motor Speedway, after starting in 20th position.  The Texas Motor Speedway is the fastest 1.5 mile oval because of the steep banking in the corners and is known for having some of the closest finishes in IndyCar Series.  In fact, the race in 2007 included a multi-car accident during Lap 197 and the 22nd-closest finish in IndyCar Series history.

As part of Duno’s visit to Texas, she is participating in a Racing For Kids® event at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas on Thursday, June 5, at 10 a.m.  The center is located at 1935 Medical Center Drive.  She will be on hand to make bedside visits and sign autographs.

Duno is the only female Hispanic to be racing in the IndyCar Series.  Her list of accomplishments in racing is as important as her vast education.  Duno is a certified Naval Engineer who holds four master’s degrees.  In addition to placing 19th at this year’s historic Indianapolis 500, Milka’s remaining schedule includes seven more races.

MILKA DUNO
“This is going to be an exciting race for the drivers and fans at Texas Motor Speedway, and I am looking forward to competing in the Lone Star state again.  My determination and the support from my amazing team with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing will give me the confidence to see a good result.”

ROBBIE BUHL, TEAM CO-OWNER
“Milka is responding very well to the team and is committed to learning all she can.  We should have a solid race car for Texas and know that Milka is on her way to becoming a very successful race car driver.”
